Natural Caffeine

135-150mg of Sustained Energy

Natural caffeine from premium black and green tea leaves delivers coffee-equivalent energy with smoother delivery and longer duration. Unlike synthetic caffeine powder, tea-based caffeine releases gradually for sustained alertness without harsh spikes or crashes.

Benefits:

Sustained Energy
Enhanced Focus
8-12 Hour Duration

Did you know?

Tea-based caffeine is metabolized more gradually than coffee's concentrated form, providing smoother energy delivery. When combined with L-Theanine, it produces optimal cognitive performance without negative side effects.

L-Theanine

For calm focus

L-Theanine is an amino acid naturally found in tea that promotes relaxed alertness without sedation. Clinical research proves it counteracts caffeine's jittery effects while enhancing cognitive performance, attention, and accuracy.

Benefits:

Eliminates Jitters
Enhanced Focus
Reduces Anxiety

Did you know?

Multiple peer-reviewed studies show that caffeine + L-Theanine together improves cognitive performance better than caffeine alone.

Premium Black & Green Tea

(Camellia sinensis) High-caffeine, antioxidant-rich

Our foundation is premium black and green tea leaves sourced from India, Sri Lanka or China, boosted with natural tea extract to 150mg of caffeine per serving in our black teas and 135mg in our greens. The leaf brings the antioxidants — EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) and theaflavins — plus the L-Theanine that keeps the energy smooth instead of jittery.

Benefits:

Powerful Antioxidants
Supports Cardiovascular Health
Cellular Protection

Did you know?

Tea is the second most consumed beverage globally (after water) and has been used for thousands of years for both enjoyment and health benefits. Studies show regular tea consumption supports long-term cognitive health and metabolic function.

Natural Flavors & Botanicals

Real fruit extracts, zero artificial ingredients

Every flavor comes from real sources: blueberries, pears, pomegranate, mint, cinnamon, and apple. We use steam distillation and cold-press extraction to capture authentic flavor—never artificial flavoring compounds or synthetic sweeteners.

Benefits:

Genuine Taste
No Artificial Ingredients
0 Calories, 0 Sugar

Did you know?

"Natural flavors" legally means the flavor is derived from real plant or animal sources (we use only plant sources). This is completely different from "artificial flavors" which are created from synthetic chemicals in labs.

Frequently asked questions

HOW DO YOUR HIGH CAFFEINE TEAS REDUCE THE JITTERS AND CRASH?

Our high caffeine teas are packed with amino acids, including L-Theanine, which studies show helps moderate caffeine’s effects.

HOW MUCH CAFFEINE IS IN ZEST HIGH CAFFEINE TEAS?

Our high caffeine teas range between 135 and 150mg of natural caffeine per serving, depending on the flavor.

IS IT REALLY THE MOST CAFFEINATED TEA ON THE MARKET?

As far as we know, yes. And by quite a margin. Zest high caffeine teas have about 3x the caffeine of normal tea, or about as much caffeine as a regular cup of joe.

CAN THE LEVEL OF CAFFEINE IN ZEST HIGH CAFFEINE TEAS BE HARMFUL?

Up to 400mg of caffeine per day is generally considered safe. With 120-150mg per serving, Zest’s high caffeine teas are comparable to a strong cup of coffee.

HOW DO YOU INCREASE THE CAFFEINE LEVELS?

We have developed an innovative proprietary blending method that enhances the caffeine levels. The extra caffeine comes from natural tea extracts. The process and ingredients used are natural.

THE TEA IS WHITE, IS THAT MOLD?

Tea in its natural form isn’t as caffeinated as we’d like it to be, so we developed a way to add more caffeine to our blends using natural tea extracts. A common side effect during this process is the whitening of the tea.

DO ZEST TEA BAGS CONTAIN ANY PLASTICS/MICRO-PLASTICS?

Despite the look, our tea bags are made of a plant-fiber material that is compostable and does not contain plastics/micro-plastics.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS SUGAR FREE?

Our hot teas are all sugar free. Our ready-to-drink energy iced teas have 0 sugar flavors (and other, low-sugar flavors). Our powder packs contain a little sugar.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS GLUTEN FREE?

All Zest products are gluten free.

HOW MANY CALORIES/CARBS ARE IN ZEST PRODUCTS? CAN I DRINK THIS ON A KETO DIET?

Our hot teas have 0 calories and carbs.

HOW MUCH WATER TO USE PER TEA BAG?

This is for brewed tea. One serving of tea is typically brewed with 6-8 oz of water. Some use as much as 12-15oz of water for the same amount of tea so it’s completely up to your personal preferences. We recommend starting with the standard measurements and experimenting to see what you like best. Our powder sticks are different — Zest Elite and our Energy + Hydration packs mix into 16 to 32 oz of cold water per stick, not 6-8 oz.

FOR HOW LONG SHOULD I BREW THE TEA?

Use near-boiling water (freshly boiled water) and brew the tea for 3-4 min if brewing Green Tea, or 4-5 min if brewing Black Tea.

Nice fruity flavor

My favorite flavor.

I absolutely love Zest. The tea gives me energy without a crash.

Love it. Love the taste, the smell, and the simplicity.

Thank you for your feedback!

Drank it 3 separate times days apart and it made me sick each time.

My go-to for tea at work where I cannot use loose tea.
It’s one of the only subscriptions I have that doesn’t involve streaming.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback!

Excellent flavor, extremely smooth!

Thank you for your awesome feedback! :)

I can't make it through the day without at least one cup of Superberry Samba. - it's a running joke in our house that I will make everyone late waiting for the kettle to boil. I have tried all of the flavors and this is my absolute favorite. I recommend it to everyone, I bring it with me when I travel and give people samples when they appear remotely interested. This B-more girl is thrilled to support a hometown business!

Thank you for your amazing review. We're so happy to hear that it has become a staple in your daily routine. Your support means everything to us!

I like the flavor it's just not as strong as my favorite, pomegranate mojito

This is one of my top favorite Zest teas. Right up there with Blue Lady. Highly recommend. I'll be coming back to it!

Hi there! Thanks for your review! We hope you continue to enjoy it and we look forward to welcoming you back for more in the future. Cheers!

Live this tea!!

Thank you for sharing your feedback!

I love this tea. It’s a nice variant from my normal, Blue Lady. I also like the bags because they make clean up easier at work.
My only complaint is the inconsistency with the tea bags. Some bags don’t have strings or tags.

Delecious love this tea, also appreciate the samplers!

Hi Jacob,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m so glad to hear you’re enjoying our Superberry!

Delicious and fragrant

I love the fragrance of this tea and subtle sweetness of it (as it has that little hint of strawberry). I've tried everything to replace my increasing need for caffeine as coffee has started to upset my stomach in a bad way. Fortunately Zest came along at just the right time.

Love my zesty tea!

Love my zesty tea!

Get the pomegranate mojito green tea instead!

I realized I just don’t like most tea, this is not the products fault. I do however love the pomegranate mojito. That one tastes like thin mint and the only tea out of five that I have tried that I liked.

Love it!

I love this tea! It's enough to wake me up and start my day. The tea is great quality and the flavor is wonderful.
